We may see ourselves as 'Earth Advocaters' but how Earth friendly is your life? We encourage to always make a conscious effort to improve your carbon footprint while backpacking whether it be taking on more weight of reusable water bottles or using a pee cloth to avoid depositing more toilet paper in the backcountry. Here are ways to improve your carbon footprint at home!

Utilize reusable water bottles and at home water filters
Washable cloth towels instead of paper towels
Wool dryer balls over dryer sheets
Stasher food bags & bees wraps for food storage replaces plastic wrap
Start a composting bin
Utilize farmer's markets for fresh produce & local products
Walk more!
Car pool to trailhead
Reduce meat and dairy consumption & purchase from local ethical sources
Thrift clothing & furniture
Use wool based clothing over manufactured clothing (synthetic)
Keep honey bees!
Consider energy efficient or fully electric cars over traditional cars on your next purchase
